UGGS! Over the last few years, the Australian, sheep-skinned filled fashion boots have become a staple in the wardrobes of Cleveland women wishing to keep their feet protected from the harsh Mid-Western winters. What started out as a trend formed around function has become a habit embraced by women who have become hooked on the comfort and convenience of slipping the boots on with everything from casual to corporate wear.

Just when you thought that traditional relationship values were dead, Cleveland author Dennis Stanfield is on a mission to resurrect them with his self-published book, Created to Love. I sat down with the passionate poet and burgeoning entrepreneur to discuss his work, his inspirations and of course his thoughts on Cleveland!

I have chosen to abandon the article that i was working on to honor Alexander McQueen and the great legacy he left behind... Some of my readers may know, Alexander McQueen was found dead in his home following his apparent suicide on February 11, 2010. Just nine days after his beloved mother Joyce McQueen's death and three years since his close friend and style guru, Isabella Blow killed herself . Mcqueen took the death of his mother very hard, taking to his twittier page saying "I'm letting my followers know my mother passed away yesterday if it she had not me nor would you RIP mumxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx..."

If you're like me, then you have "guilty pleasure" songs. You know, the ones that knock just right in your car or on a Friday night in the club. The kind of song that makes you temporarily throw off your polish and rock out. Well thanks to Cleveland artists Britni Elise (featured in here our Generation Next series) and Darren Anthony, you can now enjoy two of your favorite club bangers without risking the loss of I.Q. points. (C'mon. You know I'm not the only one who feels this way!)
Courtesy of our good friends, The Varsity Squad, I'm pleased to present awesome remixes of Travis Porter's Turnt Up and Gucci Mane's Wasted by two of Cleveland's brightest new stars. Click the links below. Your cars and iPods will thank me later.
Turnt Up - Britni Elise and Darren Anthony
